Collaboration. The difference between photographing people and products is that products are not cooperative. A widget functions (or not); a person feels. Objects take patience, subjects take time. Time to cultivate comfort. Understanding. And trust.

We don't rush things, but models certainly don't sit around waiting on the set. Our team spends a lot of time beforehand getting things just right. So when the models are on set , their distractions are minimized. When it's time to shoot, they are unaware of anything but the guy behind the camera. And then time turns into space: forming an on-set relationship is what makes a great shot, and Jim Cambon is a natural at this.

Teamwork. A seamless shoot takes stellar coordination. One person concentrates on technical aspects, another on make-up, and someone else is orchestrating the details and props and personalities. Putting people and things in the right places, without pushing them around. So when it's time to work, it's really fun.

Rewards. Real fun for our clients is about getting results. And although we're not about number crunching, Cambon takes pride in creating success by threading attitudes through the fabric of a product to help make it sell. Toes sing. Smirks tease. Expressions speak. Shadows suggest. Natural daylight dances with a mood. And a laugh can be heard if we click at just the right time.

We're good. We roll with the punches while staying on task. To share a moment and capture an emotion, a wink of an eye, or a hint of a giggle. The end use may be on a cardboard box or plastic package, but when the viewer sees it and wants whatever's inside…that's our perfect image.
