When viewing our site you may not see our images as we intended. This target should give you an indication of how your display and viewing conditions are influencing your viewing experience, it is not a calibration tool.
Do you see nine equally sized, evenly graduated gray, horizontal bars behind our circle-and-squares logo?
Can you read all (or most of) the percentage numbers, 1% - 99% (hint: #'s 91%-99% are below the logo in the black border)?
Can you see a clear and distinct differentiation between the edge of the black circle and the "90%" horizontal gray bar?
Does the inner circle of our logo and the white surface appear brightest white?
Do the circle-and-squares graphic with the "Cambon Studios" logo copy and telephone number appear totally black?
Do the grays look neutral and consistent from left to right?
If you answered "no" to any of these questions, your viewing conditions differ from ours.
If you answered yes to all these questions, your viewing conditions are like ours. Please enjoy the show :-)
Our monitors are calibrated to 6500°K and gamma 1.8 in a darkened room. Jim's monitor luminance value of 76.5 Cd/m2 is set to approximate Virginia's after profiling both with GretagMacbeth's ProfileMaker Pro software. Cambon Studios is committed to precision imaging. For more information on monitor calibration and optimizing your viewing conditions, please give us a call.
